B.R.E.A.D. Rises!!!

Upcoming Events:
Restorative Practices Summit on Thursday, November 1st! Our Juvenile Justice committee will be hosting a community summit to educate the wider community on how we can transform and restore our city!  This event is co-sponsored with the Columbus City Schools and the United Way. Mixer at 5:30 pm and program begins at 6:00 pm. Location: Arts IMPACT Middle School (680 Jack Gibbs Blvd., Columbus, OH 43215). Annual Assembly on Monday, November 12th, at 7:00 pm! We'll celebrate progress that has taken place over the summer, hear a report from the house meetings, hear testimonies from BREAD members, and choose the focus for the upcoming year. All Network Members, Team Members, and clergy should be in attendance. Location: Christ the King Catholic Church (2777 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43209). 
Research Kickoff on Monday, December 10th, at 7:00 pm! Curious about BREAD's research process and want to learn how to get involved? This event will give an overview of the research process and give those in attendance the opportunity to learn more about our current research committees. *Note: you must be a Network Member, Team Member, or clergy member to get involved with one of the research committees. Location: Christ UMC (1480 Zettler Rd., Columbus, OH 43227).

BREAD fact: In April 2018, BREAD won an $88,455 allocation of federal funds for Columbus City Schools staff to reduce suspensions through training by the International Institute for Restorative Practices.
