B.R.E.A.D. Rises!!!

Celebration! Monday, June 24th, at 7:00 pm. Location: Congregation Tifereth Israel (1354 E. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43205). At this event, we'll lift up our victories, honor our Team Members, Network Members, and clergy. We'll also kickoff our Investment Drive at this event. Special guest: Steve Gladman from the Affordable Housing Trust!
 
Listening Process. From late September to October, house meetings will take place in congregations involved with B.R.E.A.D. Attend a house meeting in order to get to know people in your congregation, discuss community problems, and learn more about the justice ministry/Rodef Tzedek Network. Contact a Team Member in your congregation for house meeting dates. Not sure who to contact? Call the B.R.E.A.D. office at (614) 220-9363.  
 
Annual Assembly! Monday, November 11th, at 7:00 pm. Location TBA. At the Annual Assembly, you'll hear the results of the house meetings, receive updates from our committees, vote on a slate of officers for the coming year, and determine B.R.E.A.D.'s focus area for the 2020 Nehemiah Action.

BREAD fact: In April 2018, BREAD won an $88,455 allocation of federal funds for Columbus City Schools staff to reduce suspensions through training by the International Institute for Restorative Practices.
